Tish and Walter

 So I met Tish a few months ago at Fallons wedding. She is an incredible hair and makeup artist in Cedar Hill - so anyone looking to get hott then check her out at Pretty Hair Spa Suites. A few weeks ago I met her and her boyfriend, Walter, in Dallas to do some lovey dovey pictures. Walter lives in Mississippi and was down here visiting and was shocked when he realized he was having to do a full blown photo shoot! ha I could tell he wanted no part in this, but his true colors came out after about 20 minutes and all of a sudden he was Mr. GQ - all posing and stuff! haha They were so much fun and Tish was rocking some serious shoes and was my hero walking all over downtown in those heels!
Tish - you look so fierce here - love it!
This one just screams their love for each other - so sweet ;)
So this last one is one of my favorites of all time! By the way - EXCITING NEWS - a few days after the photo shoot these two got ENGAGED!
I am so happy for you both and wish you the very best in this new journey you are about to take!

New Years Resolutions

Ok so yes, I am almost 5 months late on posting this, but every New Years I write out a list of goals I would like to achieve for the next year and then throughout the year I will pull out my list and see just what I have accomplished and what else I need to do. I have NEVER been able to complete one of these lists, but this year I am really trying. So I thought I would post it on here and then I will feel more accountable. HA  - we will see if this works, please dont be mean to me if I dont complete it! K? k :)

2010 Photography Goals

 * Buy a new camera

 * Offer at least one Holiday Mini Session

 * Do at least 30 photo sessions

 * Shoot at least one wedding

 * Work on branding, packages and marketing

So there you have it folks - my 2010 list. Geez i'm already thinking of not publishing this! EEK. So let me just tell you so far on how this list is going...

* still no new camera

* umm i'm going to shoot for a Christmas mini session

* So far I have done 7 photoshoots this year (have lots more scheduled though!)

* I HAVE SHOT ONE WEDDING THIS YEAR!  and I actually have lots of possible wedding bookings      this year!

* I have a new logo, and now have wedding packages. I am currently working on all other packages.

Sometimes I just hate how open and honest I am...

Clint & Kelsie

A few weeks ago I shot my cousin, Clint, and his fiancee, Kelsie's engagement session. I knew Clint would be prepared to do whatever and know that I would make him do some uncomfortable stuff but I wasn't sure if Kelsie would be so willing! ha Well, she proved me wrong! haha We had so much fun and the weather was perfect! I really enjoyed this session and absolutely loved some of the photos that came of it. I cant wait to attend the wedding in May - Im so happy for my cousin as he deserves the best and I can tell they both really love each other =0) Welcome to the family Kelsie - I hope the first time spedning time with me wasnt to terribly overwhelming haha

Jones Cooper Wedding

Ok I am way far behind - I prioritize all my work and this always seems to be the last on the list! On March 6th, I had the honor of documenting Fallon and Derricks wedding! It has been a long time coming - I have been on this journey every step of the way with engagement, bridals and now the big day! To be honest when I first started my photography business I had NO intention of shooting weddings, but Fallon was one of those brides who will not take NO for a answer! haha So I decided to grant their wish and shoot their wedding - and I actually loved it! It was a learning experience and at times over - whelming, but overall it was wonderful! Since her wedding I have had numerous inquries about weddings - so thanks Fallon for making me do something I really didn't think I wanted to do! ha

 Fallon was a gorgeous bride - she was literally glowing! I arrived two hours prior to the ceremony and she was so cool, calm and collected! I was shocked! About 30 minutes before the ceremony she was getting butterflies and I could tell she was freaking out just a little - but of course she pulled it off with such grace and class (as always!). You should of heard the gasp as she walked down the aisle - yes she was glowing that much!

  Poor Derrick - unfortunately it doesn't take men NEAR as long as women to get ready so he and his 10 (yes 10! they each had 10 attendants!) groomsmen were stuck for awhile doing pictures with me! haha He was a good sport though, even if he kept telling me he didnt know he had to do SO many pictures - I just smiled and said - get over it, you will cherish these in 20 years! haha

 Everyone had such a great time - you can tell these two are surrounded by people who love them unconditionally and will have their back always.

Fallon and Derrick, I wish you a lifetime of love and laughter!Congratulations!
