Zoey...while she was still seven (feb 2012)

Before winter completely left us this year I did a fun little shoot with my step daughter, Zoey. I had several ideas in my mind, but, ultimately I just wanted to capture Zoey being Zoey. She has a very sweet and tender spirit. She loves to giggle and act like barn animals. She enjoys shopping and feeling dolled up, but loves to get dirty outside. She has a huge passion for animals - most of all horses. She has taught me so much about life and I absolutely adore her. I wanted to get a few pictures of her while she was still seven and still in second grade (time passes way to quickly). Some of my most favorite pictures..

The Grays

The Grays were my first session of  2012! I was super excited, because quite honestly I adore this group! Of course, the day of their session was probably one of the coldest days we had seen all winter - but this group huddled together to stay warm and laughed the entire session..they made my job super easy!Seriously adore the love this family has for one another - you can feel they genuinely care for each other and you cant help but smile when being around them as they instantly make you feel welcome. Despite the bitter cold, I loved how the pictures came out - enjoy!

Raggio Baby Bump

My sister had a terrible pregnancy - I mean terrible! She was put on strict bed rest very early on in her pregnancy and had several major scares. We really didn't think we were going to get to do any pregnancy pictures since she was on such strict bed rest, but one week she went to the Dr. and he told her that she could get up for a few hours a day. Whahoo! We got excited! This was probably the quickest session I have ever done. We couldn't do much, but we wanted to get a few of this special time in their lives. Thank goodness we did it when we did cause a few days later she was hospitalized for awhile. I will have more on that journey soon - but for now, enjoy! ;)

Rachel

I had met Rachel through one of my favorite clients, Megan Ashton, they are sisters. I was giddy with excitement to work with Rachel - she is gorgeous! She is also a freakin rockstar- she is involved in dance and is extremely intelligent, as well as being very involved in her school. Her parents have every right to be so proud :) I'm taking some SR photo's of Rachel this fall and im already brainstorming for all sorts of ideas - cant wait!

The Yates Family

I was thrilled to work with this family. Ive known Kaycie since high school and was so excited to photograph her beautiful family. I loved how these photos came out and love all the fall colors...they are just picture perfect - dont ya agree? ;)

Sisters

Deanna won my "Scavenger Hunt" contest and used her free session to get some photos of her beautiful girls. This session was extra special because I had met Deanna at church when I was like 15, we had a very close friendship for several years and then we both moved off and lost contact. Through the power of  Facebook we finally caught up - so I was so excited to see her again and to meet her beautiful daughters! We had a blast! :)

The Davis Kids

I have finally come to terms with the fact that right now I just cant update my blog like I want to - so that being said - until I get caught up, the stories will be VERY limited and short. I hate that im having to do that as I seriously adore ever single one of the families I work with - but right now it will be the only way to get caught up at this point. 

Meet the Davis cousins! They had a session in November for Christmas gifts for family - loved how they turned out :)
